1. First, fill your kettle with one cup of vinegar or lemon juice and two cups of water, forming a cleaning solution.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it sit undisturbed for two hours. Afterward, use a cloth to gently clean and wipe the kettle.
3. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a soft, clean cloth.
4. If necessary, repeat the descaling process.

It's common to observe spots or rust on the stainless steel base after initial use, especially in hard water areas. When using the "Keep Warm" mode with a preset, the CO117-DK will continue heating for up to one minute if the kettle is returned to its base within that timeframe.

The kettle boasts six precise one-touch presets, each tailored to specific brewing needs, thanks to the advanced STRIX thermostat technology for accurate temperature control.

For speed and safety, this kettle boils water in just 3 to 7 minutes and automatically shuts off with boil-dry protection. The "1 Hour Keep Warm" feature maintains your desired temperature for an extended period, which can be easily deactivated by pressing START/CANCEL for three seconds.
